AKFOODS New Zealand Limited is a market-leading, vertically integrated fruit ingredient and fruit and vegetable juice producer. The company is involved in orchard management, processing, marketing and distribution of fruit and vegetable products across New Zealand and to the wider Global market. In addition, AKFOODS operates a contract packing and processing operation that produces quality products for customers.

AKFOODS promotes a broad range of fruit and vegetable products from juice concentrate and aromas through to sliced, diced and pureed pouch packs. All products are marketed into a wide range of businesses, professional catering industry, and value-added food ingredients users. We supply high-end fruit derivative products into supermarkets and other retail food outlets in addition to servicing the needs of foodservice customers.

Akfoods operations include three major processing facilities, smaller value-added processing plants, and innovative packaging operations. In the height of the season, AKFOODS employs approximately 150 seasonal people.

Akfoods is wholly owned by Turners & Growers, New Zealand’s leading distributor and marketer of fresh produce.
